Walk No. 3

Newvillage Wood Walk:
7 km. / 4.4 miles (approx.) in length.

This walk takes you high up through a mature coniferous forest with magnificent views down over Lough Corrib, the Islands, the Connemara Hills and the spectacularly beautiful surrounding Irish countryside.

You can see for miles out over the lake from Galway City in the distant south-east right the way up to Ashford Castle and Cong in the distant north. A place to stop and wonder!

This walk can also be driven or cycled.
